Cash was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho. At a young age he would go up and help his uncle, Ridge Taylor, At his hunting camp on the weekends and whenever he could get out of going to school. During this time Ridge taught him everything he knew about hunting Trophy Mule Deer. By the age of 18 Cash was guiding clients of his own to some exceptional Mule Deer and Shiras Moose Trophies.
At the age of 22 Cash followed Ridge to Africa and began his apprenticeship to one day become an African Professional Hunter. Something he had dreamed of ever since he was a kid. He soon became a Professional Hunter in Zambia and later in Tanzania. For the next few years he continued to hunt two continenents, leaving the states in May and hunting the bush of Africa until the fall when he would return home to hunt big Mule Deer, an addiction he could never break.
In 2004 Cash gave up hunting Africa to spend more time closer to his Wife and family. This also enabled him to spend more time in southeast Idaho where he grew up, and focus his attention on hunting Trophy Mule Deer, Moose, Elk, and Mountain Lion.
Cash makes his home outside Idaho Falls, Idaho with his Wife Nikki.
